I'm Superstar...

...For limited time only. Excuse about my rants, but thanks to the Stardoll Access app I became Superstar for two days. Only. Two days aren't enough but I'mma deal with it in a number of ways. Hee hee.

And today I bought my first Superstar only item. The Vintage Knit Blouse from Pretty n' Love for 190 SCs.

I'm so happy to share this with you!

Why Superstar/Royalty only items? (RANT)

Today's post is about Superstar/Royalty only items, which I was planning a ridiculously long time to post here. By the way, here's my opinion on Superstar/Royalty only items.

Being a Stardoll member since June 2013, I lived the ultimate Non-Superstar Items experience. That's how I can call it. Except for some items who were Royalty only, such as the Hunter Haircolor (4SDs) from Doree, nail stickers from Sprinkled (about 1 or 2 SDs and one in Starcoins - 25SCs I think) that came out about December 2012 (as they were holiday related), the Wilderness Butterfly nail polish from Polished (12SDs), the Crystal Curtain from Fantasy Hotels (4SDs) and the free gift when you upgrade to Royalty Sea of Stars Royal Turquoise nail polish from Polished again, at the price of 0 Stardollars. When the Royalty store came out in Starplaza about August 2013, I thought I'd buy something, but ever since it was Royalty only, I regret it. I bought my clothes from Wild Candy, It Girls, Bonjour Bizou and Original Future.

In 2014, when the Easter Edition Superstar offer came out, things started to worsen. In Fallen Angel (about June 2014) the only Superstar item was the Lace Angel Gown (25SDs). From the June 2014 collection the only item I bought was the Navy Silk Blazer (15SDs). And that made me wonder WHY Stardoll started to release Superstar only items instead of the regular ones. Tress Up includes many superstar only hairstyles. Like the Kylie hair and the Pink Waves hair (Tress Up Ombre), Rosie Bold Hair, Home for Christmas hair, Pretty Girl Hair and the Romantic Waves hair from Tress Up Holiday 2014, Rihanna High Ponytail Hair (Celebrity Style 2015), Natalia Hot Curly Hair (Tress Up Holiday 2015) and Fashionista Messy Hair (Fashionista 2016). Only Royalty exclusive hairstyle are the Big Loose Braids hair, again from Tress Up Fashionista 2016.

When the Pals store came out, I thought I'd rant again but no. It has gone way too far. Stardoll became quite affordable but over the years it has become quite unaffordable, especially when new items are being released. Note that the Pals store is Superstar only and includes few items in Starcoins. Even Callie's Picks released collections with Superstar and Royalty only items. Seriously? They're making us non-Superstars feel so bad because almost everything is Superstar only. And it's not worth it becoming Superstar after being already Superstar and paid for it with REAL money. Never trust in free Superstar or Stardollars generators, they may mess your computer up or delete your account!

Even Starcoins-only store Basics Decor released TWO exclusive items for Superstar and Royalty each. First is the Light Grey table for Superstars and the Taupe armchair for Royalties. If I made this blog about February-March 2016 I would rant more that I do now. I made this blog the day that Chester Bennington died (July 20, 2017) after the end of the summer courses at school! Like seriously, WHO allows Starcoins only items become Superstar/Royalty exclusive? Why? Do Superstars/Royalties have something better than us underprivileged members? You simply upgrade, and you enjoy your membership. Guaranteed it costs REAL money.

Regarding Pretty n' Love's latest collection, there's only one item that's Royalty only, and I think one or two that are Superstar only. Pretty n' Love has to release a Royalty only item since March 2016, and a Superstar only item since this summer. I don't think I was taking any exam since the summer collection came out. I lost it, I guess... but overall I have a good memory.

Never have I been Superstar/Royalty during my Stardoll life, but only for a day due to 250 million members. Despite the fact I'm on level 75. I was playing the most in 2014.

I'm not trying to expose any further Superstars, Royalties or Stardoll itself. Or be offensive to them in any way. Thank you anyway.

Happy Halloween Pt. 1: Pretty n' Pink Doll and Pennywise Inspired Looks

Hello guys n gals! I'm back with two new styled looks for Halloween! Y'all hopefully missed me because of School. And, by the ways, I am writing from my new laptop which I got yesterday!

First look inspired by Pennywise the Dancing Clown from "It" which I recently saw. I didn't find absolutely anything to match Pennywise's evil face. Only the Clown face from Bod Mod.

(PS. All items are from Bod Mod)

This could come to mind; what Pennywise wore. So, typically being me bored of my life, I decided to do a Pennywise look and it's exclusively available here. At Pocket Full of Stardoll. The nail color simply doesn't go with anything on my doll that time when I was styling my doll and dressing her up as Pennywise. I can't remember what he wore; so I put these ones on, and it's up to you to judge it.

Used Orange Clown Hair (14 SDs), Clown Face (10 SDs), Clown Collar (7 SDs), Clown Sleeves (9 SDs), Clown Blouse (12 SDs), Clown Pants (13 SDs) and Clown Boots (12 SDs) each, all Bod Mod. Total price: 77 SDs. None of the items used are Superstar/Royalty only in this look.

Then my adorable Pretty n' Pink doll look straight from Starplaza!

She's iconic! I love her! The shades of pink used in this look make her look more than girly. A combination of gamer girl and bride all in one! Gamer; because of her long colored hair (probably makes me think of YouTubers with pink hair) and bride; because of her pastel pink dress and shoes.

As for the makeup; used Midnight Black lengthening and volume mascara (3 and 4 SDs each), Midnight Black eyeliner, Midnight Black and Royal White eyeliners (4 SDs both), Indian Red, Deep Pink and Rose Pink blushes (8 SDs all), Rose Pink, Indian Red and Deep Pink Eyeshadows (6 SDs all), and Rose Pink lipstick from DOT (8 SDs, which I own). For the lipgloss used only Transform items; Exotic Peach and Fusion Fuschia lipglosses, both 24 SDs. For the super iconic look, I used Summer Solstice Eye Makeup from Splendid (12 SDs).

Her dreamy dress is the Bridal Gown from Pretty n' Love Decor (21 SDs) which results in my bridal dress that I'll be wearing on my wedding day somewhen in 10 years' time! Shoes are the High Heel Ballet Shoes from Voile (73 SCs). Quite simple look - couldn't find anything to match her pretty in pink doll look as for the dress!

Hair is Doll Hair (11SDs) from Callie's Picks - originally Bod Mod.

Total price:

  • With the makeup 161 SDs + 73 SCs
  • Without the makeup: 21 SDs + 73 SCs

None of the items, again are Superstar/Royalty.

Until next time, loser2323. :D

5 Things That I Hate On Stardoll (Part 1)

Hi guys! Pocket Full of Stardoll is back with a new post that I've been looking forward to doing when the blog is back. But yeah. All this time I was on vacation and was keeping up with my other blog. Not the Shameful Side of Stardoll. But the other blog.

Now I'm back and ready to clarify which 5 things are the ones I hate on Stardoll. For sure every Stardoll player has had 5 things he/she hates.

Well, how about my personal opinion?

  • 1. Superstar/Royalty Only Items. The reason why it's #1 is because Stardoll has gone way too expensive and more for Superstars since 2015. Most items of Stardoll are in Stardollars and many items that are in Stardollars are locked. In order for members to become Superstar/Royalty and unlock them when they upgrade to Superstars. Royalties can buy everything, even the whole shop! (thanks to some information I found on YouTube) I, personally, haven't become Superstar/Royalty, but I'm looking forward to becoming when I finish High School and go to University.
  • 2. Chainmails. Well, I'm not the only one who hates chainmails between many other members of Stardoll. I don't feel like I'm the only one who hates them. So yeah, everyone hates them because those chainmails make you believe what they say. For example: "Do you want free Superstar? Copy and paste this message to 3 guestbooks or send it to 3 of your friends via private message. Log out and wait 1-2 minutes. Then log in back to Stardoll and you'll find a lot of things and 9000 Stardollars in a green bag." Most of them don't ask for password. So if you ever find a chainmail like this on Stardoll report it ONLY if you have proof. Fake reports are, probably, against the Stardoll rules and this way you'll get your account deleted.
  • 3. Too much makeup. There's a limit to makeup when on Stardoll. And there are some do's and dont's to makeup. I would not try to put way too much eyeshadow on my doll because she would look creepy. Or a lipstick on a too intense color because she would look creepy or more of a transvestite. Or too much blush because she would look like a beautiful girl gone ugly. More like Good Girl Gone Bad. Wouldn't try this. Ever. But I'm okay with the rest (mascara, eyeliner/eyepencil...) And for sure, if my doll had 2 eyebrow pencils and tried to put eyebrow piercing on my doll, I would never apply in the area where I'd put the eyebrow piercing. Because my doll may look a little bit odd. I like my doll the way she is. Only thing I change is her lipstick.
  • 4. Bad behavior/Bullying. Well, everyone hates it because bad behavior is obviously not allowed on Stardoll. Because other members feel bad and makes them feel uncomfortable in a number of ways. I have gone through bullying when I was 12 and 13, and I tried so hard to beat it. I didn't get cyberbullied, because if I got cyberbullied it would make me feel more uncomfortable than verbal bullying. I'm so lucky because I've never gotten cyberbullied or have never been beaten to death (physical bullying), but I've been told to kill myself twice when I was in 8th grade. As clearly as I can remember, it all stopped March 17, 2015. Now I still live my life and I'll always remain a happy person in all my life. But, things on Stardoll are far more different than in real life. Stardoll is a virtual dress up site for little girls. And I'm so lucky I've never gotten bullied on Stardoll, actually, it's a repetition to a sentence I wrote previously.
  • 5. Spamming. Well, 75% of people hate spamming on guestbooks with messages such as "Hey, nice doll 5/5. Vote my album" or "Hey, I'm running for covergirl, please vote me 5/5 back. Voted you 5/5" or "Bazaar Sale! CHEAP! Hurry! Wig 9sd!". I belong to the 25% of people who don't hate spamming messages. Don't hate me but when I get such messages, I vote these people for covergirl/album/scenery or check out their bazaar. I'm not actually hating this kind of thing but I like voting people for covergirl. I help them make their dream come true.

So that's my personal opinion about things that I hate on Stardoll. I don't know if there's gonna be a part 2 of the things that I hate on Stardoll.

So stay tuned for next posts, thank you for reading!

Styling Callie's Picks Issue #82 "Vacation Packing" - Starcoin Only Items

Hey guys! I'm back with a new post here. Too much work on The Shameful Side of Stardoll... I've been so tired of it. But I'll be back within the next few days. And I really mean it. So today I decided to leave my second post here, and it's about the most recent Callie's Picks issue that came out on the 12th of July. No SS/Royalty items, so happy! Some other day I'll post about Superstar/Royalty items (it's actually a rant) and I'm not sure when.

So I've made 3 looks with Starcoin only items (most of them) and they also include items with Stardollars just to make them look more cool etc etc. I also combined items from other stores, including the new Basics (so I combined them styling both issues 80 & 81 from Callie's Picks) and many other stores.

This is the 1st look:

This look makes me feel like I'm in Dubai! I really like the way I styled it -sorry if some items look shit on me due to Wi-Fi- and I really liked the contrast between the cardigan and the bikini. The hairstyle I picked is the awesome ponytail by babyfacejoo (24 SDs) which made me want it so bad. I own both of the items of this look, like the Bright Sunhat (154 SCs) and the Sobchak Bikini (140SCs). I used the The Shades (11SDs) which match the look because of their transparent white color. The cardigan is Chiffon Long Cardigan (26SDs) and it perfectly does the contrast between the bikini and the cardigan itself. The shoes are the Wedge Sandals from Voile (40SCs).

Total price (with the hairstyle): 334SCs. and 61SDs
Without the hairstyle: 334SCs and 37SDs

This is the 2nd look:

This is one of the looks that makes me think of what I wear in real life. The hairstyle I chose is the Just Worked Out hair (19SDs) from the Tress Up Casual Chic collection. It's like my hair in real life and it's also in The Sims 4 as Custom Content :D. This look includes 1 item from the latest Basics collection: the Chiffon Frill Blouse in Black (100 SCs). I do own an item like this in real life, to be honest. The bermuda shorts are Candie's Jeans Shorts from Callie's Picks (300SCs) and I own this item on Stardoll & in real life! The shoes are the Bow Wedges (7SDs) from Callie's Picks, again. It's just a simple look for going in town to do a lot of things like shopping, going out with friends etc etc...

Total price (with the hairstyle): 400SCs and 26 SDs
Without the hairstyle: 400 SCs and 7SDs

This is the 3rd look:

This look is like the 1st look but a lot more suitable for hanging out with friends out of the beach . It's more casual than the 1st look in my opinion. The hairstyle I used is the Saturday In Hair (20SDs) from the  Tress Up Casual Chic (again!) collection and it looks so messy but cute. The top is ABBA Bikini Top (140SCs) from Callie's Picks and I combined it with the super cute Ivory Denim Shorts from Trails (100SCs) which I want so bad! I love these shorts! The cardigan is the Chiffon Long Cardigan (26SDs) from Callie's Picks (again) and it looks good on my doll! Last but not least the shoes are the Soil Heels from Callie's Picks (168SCs) and they look so weird on my doll they make me think of a farmer girl/grandma (I don't know how to call it). I don't want to buy them. They look weird...

Total price with the hairstyle: 408SCs and 46SDs
Without the hairstyle: 408SCs and 26SDs

Note that I am using non-superstar items.

That's all for now. Bye.

Introduction!

So I decided to take a break from The Shameful Side of Stardoll and start something better. So here it is, Pocket Full of Stardoll! My new blog. In this blog I will share my styled looks I've done with items from Starplaza or items that I own on Stardoll. Or I'll do makeup tutorials either with items from Starplaza or makeup that I own on Stardoll. Just a lil' bit of everything.

I'm loser2323. The name's Joanne and I am your typical 16 year old girl. Most of the time I play on Stardoll, listen to music, play random games on random sites and of course I write on my blogs. The Shameful Side of Stardoll (it's actually a blog by SimGuru2011) and Pocket Full of Stardoll. I got inspired by a song by Natasha Bedingfield. (sorry if I'm wrong but I think it was included in The Sims 2 Free Time)

I also enjoy playing The Sims. Most of the time I play The Sims 3 and less often, The Sims 2. I just enjoy myself better than playing on Stardoll, so, that's all about me!

By early October I won't be posting much here because of SCHOOL. And I really mean it. I will have focused on The Shameful Side of Stardoll by then. Or on school. Who knows?

Have fun reading this blog.

Kisses :*
